The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services on the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it really is alarmed with regards to the substantial variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office committed to service the area on a daily website basis. The provider point developed for intervention activities a superior influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it tricky with the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more means to permit the servicing of all customers and increase use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
